My name is Amy and I'm a journalism student at Emerson College. I was looking for a few opinions about Freeganism from either those that are Freegans themselves or those that oppose it. Some of the questions I have are:
Those that are involved: What got you involved in Freeganism? What are the different ideas of Freeganism? I uderstand it's not all about picking things out of the trash. But rather a whole lifestyle. I was interested in how different people live the Freegan lifestyle. What do you find to be the hardest/easiest parts of living this way? What is your response to people who critque this lifestyle?
Those that oppose this lifestyle: What do you object to/offends you specifically about this lifestyle? What do you believe to be a better way of living? What harm do you think this lifestyle could do?
I'm really interested in hearing all sides of this issue. If you would like to respond to these questions please do. All answers are welcome. If you could just leave your name and email, or at least email, so I can contact you with follow up questions that would really helpful.
Thanks everyone for all your help. I look forward to your responses.
