"SATANICA is the name given by some commentators to the global cultural and geo-economic system. It involves not only the means of production (geoeconomics) but the means of producing compliance (culture). So CULTURE; including academia, publishing, marketing-advertising= media, to include so called high art and drama; is a method of achieving thought compliance, whose contradiction is a thought crime. Behind the apparatchiks of culture, there exists an economic means of production which requires increasing profits, defined as the margin between cost (wages) and payments made to the owners of what is produced. However the basic economic needs of all men have been met; modern technology permits now the elimination of all poverty, of a creation of a new Eden of simple plenty, equality, and community, if not for the requirement of increased profit in the system of capital and its co-requirement of inequality. The need for increasing profits creates the need for more human needs, no matter how artificial and satanic: textile fashion made by slaves in foreign prisons shipped thousands of miles consuming petroleum, cosmetics made by the remains of fetal tissue, post modern food, genetically modified, mutated, and manufactured in the most inhuman conditions of animal torture ever known, and of course entertainment, its primary function to drive the created artificial needs required for the beast system of materialism, hedonism, and violence, and to distract, obfuscate the essence of the system. And this is merely the visible system, the less celebrated aspects of the system being narco-terrorism or constant threat of violence and its created need the police state, together with artificially created poverty inducing slavery, human trafficking, migration-immigration, wage pressures and ethnic conflict. Distortion of basic biological needs is further distorted through psychological mechanisms of value mutation: feminization of males, masculinization of females, extension of childhood into middle age, extension of middle age into old age, extension of old age into childhood, infertility both real and imagined, death spiritual and physical..
The rate of change of technology is now accelerating and approaching its terminal asymptotic point of zero heralding the end of human history as its culmination will be the re-engineering of the human genome, thus the inclusion of non-human DNA into the human design replaces humanity with the post-human. Thus we achieve the end of human history, and the birth of the post-human. So is the goal of SATANICA .Yet a revival of ancient wisdom creates new movement of conscientious objectors to the world system, a community of those apart, a seed of survivors, remnant of humans who witness and survive the overwhelming mass of enslaved being transformed into another species."
There are some things I like and some things I don't like about what Geo says. But I beleive it is important and interesting.

I am not as critical to society as this text is.
I agree about the destruction of nature, the exploitation of cheap labour and the craziness of
gene technology. On the other hand, I think that
one should see all the positive things as well. We havr created ways for humans to live together
while enjoying relative safety, cleanliness and
free access to most basic resources. Please note
that I am writing this from a European perspective. It is different in some parts of North America.
What bothers me is that so few people even care
about their effects of their actions. They gladly
buy things that have most likely been made in "sweatshop"-like conditions, drive cars and use energy without considerations for the environmental and health impacts. This is a fundamental fallacy in the Western ideology.
Please let me know what you think. |
